Lenticular Cloud

Lenticular cloud are one of the perks of living near the mountains. These clouds look like contact lenses that over over the mountains.  This morning we had a nice purple and orange sunrise with lenticular clouds scattered over all some of the mountain peaks.

Here are some time-lapse videos from the camera at the University of Utah and the Neil Armstrong Academy. The lenticular clouds are the stationary clouds. They kind of wiggle around a little.
